Founded in 2017 by Judit Rácz (computer scientist turned cosmetic formulator) and Helia-D (a Hungarian heritage skincare brand), we’ve grown from a small indie brand into a globally loved one – now available in European DM stores across 9 countries, as well as in the UK, the US & beyond.

Our results-driven formulas are packed with high levels of top-performing actives (including high-end ingredients), with transparently disclosed percentages - fragrance-free, alcohol-free & well-tolerated.

For many years, I struggled with severe acne, and despite trying countless “miracle products”, nothing worked. So I started diving deeper into skincare science – exploring research and the work of early pioneers of science-based skincare in the US. Eventually, I realized: there is no such thing as a miracle product. What truly works is a smartly built skincare routine with clinically proven ingredients.

After fixing my own skin, I wanted to help others too. In 2010, I created Hungary’s largest skincare review & ingredient checker website, which remains the leading platform today (owned now by a major media company). Encouraged by its success, I launched INCIDecoder.com in 2015 – a trusted source for experts and skincare geeks alike, where ingredient lists are explained in a science-based yet easy-to-understand way. Around the same time, together with Péter Budaházy (Helia-D), we founded Geek & Gorgeous – the first and, since then, the most successful Hungarian pro-science skincare brand.

In 2019, I earned a Cosmetic Scientist diploma from the Society of Cosmetic Chemists in the UK, and since then, I’ve been responsible for product development. My goal is to create science-backed formulas that are truly effective – ones I genuinely love using :) – and that are also accessible.
